The Bond: Our Kinship with Animals, Our Call to Defend Them
Several books about animals, what they are thinking, how they communicate, and how we should treat them are published each year. If you are going to read just one, you’ll probably want it to be one that has been written by the president of the Humane Society of the United States. That would be this book, written by animal crusader Wayne Pacelle. The bond Pacelle writes about is the biological once between humans and animals that we humans have abused and broken with continued systematic cruelty to our animal friends. Tooted as a must read, The Bond promises to be quite the eye opener.
