New LP from Sonic Youth frontman coming on May 24th, his first album produced by Beck Hansen.

Pitchfork is offering a one week only stream of the documentary “I Need That Record!” about the decline of independent record stores. The documentary features Thurston Moore , Mike Watt , Ian MacKaye, Noam Chomsky, Legs McNeil, Glenn Branca and more. The DVD will be available at select stores for Record Store Day which is Saturday April 17th. The first 10 minutes are embedded below.

Fender has given the two their own signature line of Jazzmasters, one of their most used guitars according to their extremely extensive gear guide.
