I have a new found appreciation for St. Vincent since seeing her cover Big Black at the “Our Band Could Be Your Life” show where she blew me and everyone else away. Her new track “Surgeon” has just solidified me as a fan. The song blends beautiful textures and vocal lines with these interesting proggy synth parts and it rules.
