Mexican Summer and Gorilla Vs Bear have put together a solid party for SXSW 2011 with performances from No Joy, Toro Y Moi, Lower Dens, Games w/ Prefuse 73, White Denim, The Fresh and Onlys, Lia Ices and Cass McCombs among others. The party will take place at Klub Krucial on March 18th from noon to 2 AM.

No Joy is a duo of females from LA that play shoegazy rock. They describe themselves as sounding like the following pedals:
Ibanez AD-9 Delay, Z-Vex Seek Wah II, Danelectro Back Talk Reverse Delay pedal, Boss PN-2, Boss GE-7 Equalizer, Electro Harmonix Big Muff, Coloursound Fuzz, Boss SD-1, Boss Delay DD-3, Boss DD-20 Giga Delay and Coloursound Tremo. 20 more pedals or so and they will start giving Kevin Shields a run for his money.
