The documentary ‘Until The Light Takes Us’ covering the Norwegian Black Metal scene will soon be hitting select theaters in the United States. Theaters include New York City at Cinema Village (12/4), Los Angeles at Lasemmle’s Sunset 5(12/11) and Austin at Alamo Drafthouse Ritz (now playing). The film looks extremely interesting and has already been receiving rave reviews and we look forward to seeing it soon. You can view the trailer here and find a brief synopsis below. Coalesce and Cave In Announce Free Shows In Atlanta and LA

The folks at Scion continue to bring us some solid metal shows for free. This time the line up features Coalesce and the Cave In who have only played one show I believe since becoming active again earlier this summer. I suppose metal heads are upgrading from smelly conversion vans to Scion’s. The Atlanta show will take place October 7th at the Masquerade and the LA show October 8th at The Knitting Factory.

Nine Inch Nails Promise Final Small Club Dates

“Upon reflection, the NIN/JA tour felt like we had to rush through sets due to a limited allotted set length and many shows were in daylight – it just didn’t feel right to end NIN that way.”

According to update from Trent Reznor on NIN.com, Nine Inch Nails will be performing several smaller club shows in New York City, Chicago and LA as the last shows the band ever performs.

Venues are
New York – Bowery Ballroom, Webster Hall and Terminal 5
Chicago – Aragon Ballroom
Los Angeles – The Wiltern, The Henry Fonda, The Palladium and The Echoplex
