Finally an essential collection that lives up to the name. Look out for this 2 CD / 2 DVD set coming out from Ryko on September 14th or available for The Essential Collection (2 CD + 2 DVD). The album features liner notes from the one and only Henry Rollins, Eric Bogosian, noted UK author Paul Outhwaite, and UK journalist/tv personality, Clive Anderson. If you are unfamiliar with Hicks, definitely pick this up, it is required listening and viewing and you will not be disappointed. Perhaps you have heard quotes from him on Tool’s “Third Eye”.
