Converge are proud to announce the self-release of their brand new 7″ EP, “On My Shield”.

“On My Shield” was recorded at Godcity studios in-between the band’s 2010 “Axe To Fall” U.S. & Euro tours.

The release features the new song “On My Shield” on the A-side, while the B-side features a laser etching.
“On My Shield” is limited to 3000 copies total, and is available in three different color variations (each limited to 1000 copies).

Each copy of the release (excluding Euro tour copies, sorry folks) comes with a FREE Digital Download Coupon
(located inside the physical 7″EP packaging), good for a high quality MP3 download of the release.

The 7″EP will be available exclusively through the following distribution methods:

The criteria to talk about the album is very strict including the rule that they must be able to interview all the band members who played on the album. Which is why you might be wondering where Master of Puppets is etc. The book does cover a lot of great records though ranging from Slayer’s Reign In Blood to Converge’s Jane Doe. The book also features Black Sabbath, Carcass, Opeth, Cannibal Corpse, Botch, At The Gates and many others.

Jacob Bannon Prints

Jacob Bannon has been releasing some great prints lately through Deathwish’s online store including the ‘Winter Hearts’ print seen above that goes on sale today. The print which uses some imagery you might recognize from the Converge classic Jane Doe. The 18″ x 24″ print comes in three colors, each color limited to 100 copies. Each one is signed and hand numbered. You can buy the prints here but they are going to sell out quick.
