UK prog-rockers Oceansize are about to release Self Preserved While the Bodies Float Up in America next week. The band does not deviate from their signature sound of heavy leaning textured prog rock full of hooks and that’s a good thing. Check out the song “SuperImposer” below.

For Fans of – Antenna era Cave In, Explosions in the Sky, Muse, Faith No More

The folks at Scion continue to bring us some solid metal shows for free. This time the line up features Coalesce and the Cave In who have only played one show I believe since becoming active again earlier this summer. I suppose metal heads are upgrading from smelly conversion vans to Scion’s. The Atlanta show will take place October 7th at the Masquerade and the LA show October 8th at The Knitting Factory.
