Atlas Sound, Bradford Cox’s (Deerhunter) other project performed at the stunning St. Cecilia’s church in Greenpoint last night, the first night of the Northside Festival. The set was heavy on new songs that reverberated beautifully through the unique acoustics of the church. Check out some photos below.

JEFF the Brotherhood slayed Death By Audio, playing a good mix of Heavy Days along with new tracks from We Are The Champions (which they are selling a limited clear vinyl version of on this tour). Check out some more photos below and a newish mp3.

Colleen Green was the first of four bands opening for JEFF the Brotherhood at Death By Audio. She performed her cute pop songs with her friend to a drum machine. Her sweet voice paired with fuzzy guitars sounded excellent live, plus her tape Milo Goes To Compton is a nice reference to The Descendents.
