Matador will soon be celebrating their 21st birthday in style with a 3 day festival in Las Vegas. In honor of turning 21 the folk at Matador have put together a snazzy box set including 6 discs in custom digi-packs along with an 85 page booklet and 36 Matador poker chips.. The first 5 discs document different eras of the label while the sixth disc takes unreleased live tracks mostly from Pavement and Cat Power. All proceeds from the boxset will go to the charities The Jane Addams Hull House Association, The Ali Forney Center, The Heart Institute at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
