Torche have released their new video for “Healer” from Meanderthal
one of my personal favorite albums from last year. While the video is nothing groundbreaking, basically just them playing in an old house, the song is just damn good and worth a watch.

The new Brutal Truth video starts and begins with a calm silent film treatment but the middle will melt your face off. Watch below.

The first clip from Clutch’s amazing new record Strange Cousins From The West for “50,000 Unstoppable Watts” has been posted thanks to Headbanger’s Blog. The video features each band member performing the song in different locations via some sort of webcast while a girl watches on multiple computer monitors in some sort of high tech lab where she appears to be engaging in DNA decoding or she might just be a voyeur who loves science. Either way the song rips, check out the video above.

Dinosaur Jr. get into some extreme sports in their new video for “Over It” from Farm which hits stores today. I am sure some skateboarder’s dream was fulfilled when he got to wear a J. Mascis wig and ollie over a fire hydrant.

You may or may not have read up on some of the deluxe album packages that Josh Freese (A Perfect Circle, Devo, Nine Inch Nails) was offering early this year which including things like taking shrooms with Danny from Tool and cruising Hollywood among many, many other options. Hot damn, this video is brutal! Narrows is the new band featuring the former singe of Botch. According to their Vimeo page the movie was made by the band with no crew, shot on a handy cam and edited in iMovie. Nicely done fellas. Check out their new album New Distances

Any movie about Vikings with a death metal soundtrack sounds good to me and now we finally have one, Severed Ways – The Norse Discovery of America. This movie is Amon Amarth’s wet dream. Complete with soundtrack from Morbid Angel, Judas Priest, Dimmu Borgir, Queens of the Stone Age and more.

Brief Synopsis of the film:
In the 11th century, Vikings, Indians, and Irish monks collide on the shores of North America in an historically unknown epic adventure of exploration, personal glory, and religious dominance. Two stranded Vikings wade through a grand primeval landscape as they struggle for survival while still in the grip of their Norse ways.

Appears to be in select theaters now and on DVD in July.
