Patton Oswalt is one of our all time favorite comedians. He kills it every time and his new special is no exception. If you missed the premiere on Showtime because you don’t have the premium channels, you can check out his new jokes on record via Comedy Central. Wyatt Cenac, best known for his work on the Daily Show is also a skillful stand-up comedian. His first special “Comedy Person” will be available on CD & DVD later in August. Below you can get a taste of the set with video and audio clips.

A lot of people have a stigma about female comedians not being funny, but Amy Schumer will help destroy stereotypes today when she releases her first stand-up album, Cutting via Comedy Central Records. You can stream the very funny clip “The Bad News” below which is strangely appropriate (or inappropriate) with Easter Sunday and Passover just ending.

Check out a cut from the multi-talented Reggie Watts new 12″ Live From Third Man Records recorded as you may have guessed at Jack White’s Third Man Records in Nashville. Reggie’s shows are all so different we are just waiting for someone to start a fan site full of bootlegged lived shows. Get on that internet nerds.

Demetri Martin is one of the latest comedians to have a book deal and rightfully so as his charts and graphs will look right at home bounded in hardcover. This Is A Book by Demetri Martin will include 288 pages of jokes, essays, stories, drawings and palindromes and see release on April 25th, 2011. As an added bonus the first 500 pre-orders will include an original signed drawing from Demetri. Louis C.K. (arguably one of the best stand-up comedians ever!) is bringing his stand-up film “Hilarious” that premiered at Sundance earlier this year for a limited theater run including 4 shows at the IFC Center in New York City on September 8th and 9th. New York lucks out because Louie will be there himself to present the film. If you can wait and have the dough for premium cable channels, the film will premiere on EPIX on September 18th and find its way to Comedy Central in 2011.

In other Louie news, FX has picked up his show “Louie” (which can be streamed on Hulu) for a second season and he will be touring the country this fall with all new material for his latest show ‘Word’. The tour includes a stop at Carnegie Hall for the NY Comedy Festival on Nov. 4th, find out ticket info here.

Apparently, The State recorded an album Comedy For Gracious Living that was never released. The album features 25 skits and you can pre-order and check out clips here(though the clips kept crashing my browser). While I am a huge fan of the show, I am a bit weary of skit albums as they are a thing of the past for a reason. The last skit based album I can remember coming out was Norm MacDonald’s Ridiculous, which was terrible. I definitely look forward to giving it a spin though as they will likely have some gems on there.
